Should you choose to continue beyond any trial class/es, please understand that all courses have set lengths and are non-refundable once paid for and enrolled. All course credit is continuous in nature, for example a 4 week course credit expires 28 days after the date of your first class, and an 8 week course credit expires 56 days after the date of your first class. Casual passes and Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months.
For automated weekly memberships you are committing to a minimum term of 12 weeks, after which you can manage your own membership online and cancel at any time. If you are unable to manage your own membership online and need us to manually manage it for you, we require you to notify us in writing to memberships@elitelatindance.com.au if you will be withdrawing from classes at least 14 days before you wish to cease attending classes, as all enrolments are rolled over each week.
In special circumstances i.e. student has sustained an injury or has an illness that inhibits their participation in class for a prolonged period of time; it is at the discretion of the Studio Director. These requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Make-up classes are not available in place of missed classes at this time, but may be offered at the discretion of the studio director.
Courses or course fees can be transferred to another person only when approved by the Studio Director. Administration fees may be incurred.
Any Satisfaction Guarantee offered at the time of your purchase expires 48 hours after your first class with us, so be sure to notify us within 48 hours of your first class with Elite Latin Dance Co. if you were dissatisfied with your experience to make a claim on this.
Weekly Membership Payment Terms
1. All weekly memberships are for a minimum duration of 12 weeks, meaning you are committing to a minimum cost of $228 for 1 class per week, $300 for 2 classes per week or $468 for unlimited classes. This is due to fees and time costs associated with the setup of your membership, so please be certain you wish to commit to the terms of the membership below before proceeding, as memberships are non-refundable.
2. You can pause or cancel your membership anytime after your first 12 weeks
– All pause requests and cancellation requests must request this in writing with 14 days notice (i.e. 14 days before your payments will be paused or stopped).
3. We ask you to be very clear with the exact dates for which you request any pause/cancellation – we need to be able to input the exact dates for any changes. Make sure you’re aware of your own billing cycle (i.e. the day of the week that your payment is debited) and keep it in mind when sending through the date you want any change to take affect.
4. You can pause your membership and stay on your current rate up to twice per calendar year for a maximum duration of 28 days per calendar year, otherwise you will need to cancel and re-sign up again later (and potentially lose the great rate you’re on)
5. Memberships will auto-renew with payments continuing weekly until cancelled or paused.
Private Lesson Specific Terms
To secure your booking for a private lesson, we require a 50% deposit of the lesson fee.
In addition to the general terms policies for all classes at the top of this page, please be aware that we require more than 48 hours notice for a private lesson cancellation to not incur a fee.
- Cancel more than 48 hours before lesson: your full deposit can be transferred to use for a private lesson at a future time
- Cancel more than 24 hours before lesson: a studio hire fee of $35 will be deducted from your deposit
- Cancel lesson less than 24 hours before a lesson: deposit will be forfeit
- Cancel lesson with less than 3 hours notice: the full lesson fee will be due
The reason for these cancellation policies is to cover costs incurred by our studio for hire costs, or opportunity costs if we have turned away another student in order to prioritise your booking. We appreciate your understanding,
Zero Tolerance Policy
All students participating in any class must do so in an orderly and respectful fashion and in accordance with our Zero Tolerance policy.
Any failure to do so will result in exclusion and removal from the course or class without refund, at the discretion of the Studio Director.
Behaviour that would result in such action would include being consistently inappropriate, disruptive, rude, threatening or violent in any way, harrassing other students or instructors in any way or being under the influence of drugs including alcohol.
We are committed to making our Dance Studio a safe space, and while we understand many people start latin dance to meet new people, it is your responsibility to make sure all interactions are welcomed by the other party.
