Urban Kiz private lessons on the Gold Coast
Urban Kiz is a modern partner dance known for smooth, grounded movement, controlled direction changes and a close relationship with contemporary music. At Elite Latin Dance Co., Urban Kiz is currently taught through private lessons on the Gold Coast, allowing the coaching to focus closely on the details that create clear, comfortable partner connection.
The style rewards precision. Small changes in posture, frame, weight transfer and timing can completely change how a movement feels, so we teach the mechanics behind the dance rather than relying on memorised combinations.
Connection before complexity
Urban Kiz lessons build from walking technique, posture and lead-and-follow communication into directional changes, musical interpretation and more sophisticated partnerwork. The goal is to help you understand what you are doing, communicate it clearly and develop a dance that feels controlled, musical and connected.
