Nikolai combines Salsa teaching with more than 25 years of coaching and an elite sporting background across judo, fitness, bodybuilding and MMA. His classes balance technical detail with an approachable, social way of learning.

Originally hailing from Bogotá in Colombia, Jhovver has been dancing in Australia for more than 5 years, and trained with Elite Latin Dance Company since 2023. He was featured in our 2023 Amateur Bachata team that placed 3rd at the World Salsa Solo and also placed 3rd in the Amateur Salsa Couples with his dance partner at the time. He has since become a Trainee Instructor under the guidance of ELDC Founder, Kristi, and now teaches alongside her.
