Latin Dance Beach Day — Currumbin

About the event

Spend Saturday dancing by the water at Currumbin Alley. Everyone is welcome and the event is completely free.

Main party

Approximately 1:00pm–7:00pm — Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Reggaeton, Afro and Merengue on the beach. People are also welcome from around 10:30am for swimming, relaxing and beach time before the main party gets going.

Approximately 2:15pm — Free Zumba on the beach with Oksana and Jamilah.

The party usually gets busiest after 2:00pm. Dancing may continue into the evening, with the advertised finish around 7:00pm.

What to bring

Bring sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, sunglasses, plenty of food and drinks, water, and something warm for later. A beach gazebo is also welcome if you have one.

Please help keep the beach tidy. Glass bottles and glass cups are not permitted on the beach, and dogs are not allowed. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times; swimming in the patrolled area between the red and yellow flags is strongly advised.

Finding the party

Head to Currumbin Alley, near Currumbin Surf School. Parking is available in the beach car park near the surf school or along the seaside of Durringan Street.
