Elite Latin Dance Co. director Kristi Hall will return to World Salsa Solo this December — this time both on the judging panel and on the workshop floor.
The 2025 event is being held on the Gold Coast from 4–7 December, bringing dancers together for a major weekend of Latin dance competition and training.
Judging World Salsa Solo on the Gold Coast
Kristi will be part of the judging panel across the competition weekend, drawing on decades of experience as a professional Latin dancer, coach and four-time world champion.
Competition judging requires far more than looking for clean choreography. Timing, technique, musicality, difficulty, execution, partnering and performance quality all contribute to what separates a strong routine from an exceptional one.
Bachata shines and technique workshop
Kristi will also teach a Bachata shines and technique workshop during the event, focusing on the individual movement and technical detail dancers can carry back into both partnerwork and solo dancing.
