Elite Latin Dance Co. director Kristi Hall is set to return to the judging panel at World Salsa Solo 2024, being held on the Gold Coast from 28 November to 1 December.
This year’s invitation is particularly meaningful: Kristi will be less than two months postpartum when she takes her place on the judging panel.
Decades of Latin dance experience at the judges’ table
Kristi brings a long competitive and professional dance background to the role, including four world championship titles, Australian titles and extensive experience coaching dancers for social, performance and competition goals.
That experience informs a judging approach that looks beyond choreography alone to the fundamentals underneath it — timing, technique, musicality, execution, partnering and performance quality.
World Salsa Solo returns to the Gold Coast
With the competition taking place locally this year, Gold Coast dancers have an opportunity to watch competitors from around Australia take to the floor without travelling interstate.
